Former LED ZEPPELIN Frontman Pays Tribute To The Blues At SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST.... - Mar. 18, 2005 Michael D. Clark of the Houston Chronicle reports: It took former LED ZEPPELIN vocalist Robert Plant only one sentence to sum up why the spectacle that is the South By Southwest music festival continues to command such attention each year. "The blue note is there, all the way through my life," Plant said. He credited the blues as the origin of all the music that will be heard during the event — everything from the post-punk rock of BILLY IDOL to the British pop of DOGS DIE IN HOT CARS and the freestyle rhythms of Houston rapper DEVIN THE DUDE. Plant gave the keynote address at the Austin Convention Center to officially kick off SXSW on Thursday. The four-day festival, which continues this weekend, will put 1,300 acts on 60 stages in clubs around downtown Austin. Plant was in town in part to promote his new album, "Mighty Rearranger" (due in stores May 10). He and his new band, STRANGE SENSATION, also performed at the Austin Music Hall Thursday night. Recalling his earliest days with BAND OF JOY in the mid-'60s to his initial meeting with LED ZEPPELIN guitarist Jimmy Page, Plant said it was the regional music from Clarksdale, Miss., that had always been the spine of LED ZEPPELIN's dense, psychedelic rock as well as his solo work. Plant spoke respectfully about the music of blues pioneers like CHARLIE PATTON and JOHN LEE HOOKER and joked about his efforts to keep LED ZEPPELIN's signature ballad, "Stairway to Heaven", off public radio in Portland, Ore., by donating to the station. "It's not that I don't like ('Stairway to Heaven'), it's just that I've heard it before," Plant said, laughing. -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. DIMEBAG's Killer Used To Come To All Our Shows: AMERICAN DOG Bassist.... - Mar. 18, 2005 In a recent interview with King Hesh, AMERICAN DOG bassist Michael Hannon revealed that "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's killer, Nathan Gale, frequently attended AMERICAN DOG shows in Ohio. Excerpts from the interview follow: King Hesh: Now what do you think about that whole Dimebag incident, dude? Michael Hannon: "That's a shame. You know it's funny. That guy that shot Dimebag came to all of our shows in Marysville." King Hesh: No way dude!!! Michael Hannon: "He was from Marysville, Ohio. He's a… I remember him sitting on a floor and he would start taking his clothes off. The guy was obviously… you know, had some serious mental problems." King Hesh: (interjects) Well, his mom knew he had mental problems. Michael Hannon: "We played at this place in Marysville, Ohio. A [place] called the Lee Dog's Locker Room Saloon. And he lived catty-corner to it. Right across the street by this, uhhh, tattoo parlor. And, uhhh, he'd come to all our shows, all our stuff. He was a… he was a rock 'n' roll dude. He loved it. He was an ex-Marine. And it was just… the guy was off his medication. You couldn't tell me… He would sit there and just start taking his clothes off." Hannon also offered his opinion on the mainstream media blaming "metal" music for fueling Nathan Gale's anger: Michael Hannon: "It wasn't the music. He was off his medication. He was a trained killer, he went to the fucking Marines, you know. Yeah, I mean… There's idiots everywhere. And probably the guys just… like, like any of these vultures, or lawyer or anything. The guy is just try feeding off a disaster…. Some guy got shot. And some guy's writing to try to get his name in the press. He doesn't give a damn about anybody but himself. He's trying to get his name in the press. So fuck him! Ignore him and he'll go away." He also answered a question relating to his awareness of being on stage and whether he is paranoid of someone coming on stage and doing harm to him: Michael Hannon: "Well, what are you gonna do? You can't live your life in fear, dude. You know. If somebody shoots you, somebody shoots you. Seriously, I mean… I play fuckin' biker shows every other night." -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. Former I MOTHER EARTH Singer Launches 'Alt-Country' Solo Career.... - Mar. 18, 2005 Former I MOTHER EARTH frontman Brian Byrne has launched a solo career as a singer/songwriter playing a style of music dubbed "alt-country." "Over the last couple of years, I was just collecting my thoughts over what I wanted to do with the record," Byrne told Soulshine.ca. "I wanted to do something country-folky but not too country-folky…something with a rock caliber. I have no idea what people are going to call it — if it's going to be alt-country or roots-rock or whatever. But I never said I was going to write this certain album — it's just a bunch of songs that came together to make an album." With regards to whether I MOTHER EARTH are still together and if there no chance for another album, Byrne said, "No, I wouldn't say that because we didn't leave on bad terms. Every band fights, and we had our moments, but we're still friends. It's just that everybody needed a break because we'd been working pretty much nonstop. Even when it seemed like we went away for four years, we were still in the studio, writing and rehearsing. The only break we really had was when I damaged my vocal chords and got six weeks off. That was it in over six years. It was a long time to spend with each other." Byrne's first band, at thirteen years old, was a hair metal cover band called PANDEMONIUM, and prior to I MOTHER EARTH, he sang in a metal band called KLAVEN. The singer isn't dismissing the possibility of returning to his heavy rock heritage. "I think that I might do a punk thing or a metal thing again — sure, why not? But I really enjoy singing and playing and telling stories. It does my heart good to do that. At the end of it, that’s what it's all about. When you love music and you feel music, it's kind of timeless and shapeless, not to sound too hokey or anything. You have to make your own statements." SONIC X Release Debut Album Via Z RECORDS.... - Mar. 18, 2005 Toronto-based hard rockers SONIC X have just released their self-titled debut CD on Z Records. "It's great to see the classic bands such as MÖTLEY CRÜE, JUDAS PRIEST, and even BILLY IDOL releasing new material and touring," said Adam Troy, lead singer for SONIC X, "It is very timely for what is happening with SONIC X." The band formed in the mid-Eighties and toured extensively throughout Canada under the name L.A. and built a large coast-to-coast following. This popularity allowed L.A. to earn "Best Toronto Club Band Award" at the Toronto Music Awards in 1989. "It seemed that everything was going our way," said Joseph Cumbo, bassist for the band. "We had development deals with Capitol Records, MCA/Universal and BMG also expressed interest in signing us at the time." L.A. also started getting airplay on local radio stations, which is a rarity for a band that is not officially signed to a record label. "At the time we were being compared to bands such as GUNS N' ROSES, WHITESNAKE and SKID ROW. We fit in well with that genre of music. Everyone around us was excited and then NIRVANA happened," said Cumbo. "The shift in music was drastic." The focus became signing "grunge" bands instead of hard rock bands. The change in music landscape provided a considerable challenge for the band. The band had a decision to make: would they follow the grunge movement and change their musical style or stay true to their hard rock roots? With the help of Gil Moore from the classic Canadian rock band TRIUMPH, the band decided to finish the recording of their debut album themselves. The band then began to knock on doors once again, basically starting from scratch, shopping their material but with limited success. The break came when someone suggested that the band send the album to the U.K. based label Z Records. "We figured we had nothing to lose by sending the album over to Europe. Based on our genre of music and what was happening with THE DARKNESS and other bands like them, we felt we had a good chance to be picked up," said Troy. Their persistence and self-belief paid off. Z Records signed them to a two-album deal with an option for a third. Feeling that they had a new lease on their dreams, the band decided that a name change was in order. Having waited ten years for success the band incorporated the Roman Numeral Ten (X) into the name and changed it to SONIC X. "It is a hidden reference which signifies the over ten years of persistence in getting this album released to the public," says Cumbo. "It has been an exciting ride and worth the wait." Welsh Heavy Metal Singer's Suicide Stuns Fans, Family Members.... - Mar. 17, 2005 icWales is reporting that the suspected suicide of Welsh heavy metal band BLOOD RETCH's lead singer has stunned fans across the world. Talented Gareth Bonetto — whose stage name was Eddie Richards — was found hanged at his Yr Hendre home in Nantgarw, near Pontypridd, on Monday (March 14). The depressed 29-year-old bachelor was the singer-songwriter of Pontypridd-based BLOOD RETCH (web site) who have enjoyed a minor hit single in Holland. He will be laid to rest privately at Thornhill Crematorium on Monday afternoon (March 21) to "Knocking on Heaven's Door" by his idols GUNS N' ROSES. Police are investigating the death for the Glamorgan coroner as a suspected suicide but have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances. The band, who had built up a steady following over the last three years and were discussing a tour of the United States and a recording contract, have been left devastated. The former Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelin student had worked as a cleaner at the Asda store in Coryton while awaiting his break in show business. The as-yet-untitled cut comes from the reunited San Francisco Bay Area thrashers' new three-song demo, the recordings for which commenced this past January. The band, who are currently unsigned, released their latest CD, "Recovered", independently last spring. The effort featured covers of songs from QUEEN, THIN LIZZY, TYGERS OF PAN TANG and SWEET SAVAGE, as well as an original track, "In Memory of…" (written and dedicated to former band member Randy Laird and White's brother Jeffrey). AC/DC Frontman Throws His Weight Behind Florida's BIG MACHINE.... - Mar. 17, 2005 AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson has co-written all of the material and handpicked the members of a new Florida-based band called BIG MACHINE. The quintet has labels and industry folk alike shuffling about trying to find out more about the group performing the first new material written from the iconic frontman since 1988. Looking to stretch his own musical muscles a bit, Brian compiled in BIG MACHINE a band of monsters that would best portray his classic songwriting style, and rip it a new ass on stage. It all starts with a frontman that can cast his own shadow so to speak along side the story that is BIG MACHINE. That guy is former NEUROTICA/ATHEIST vocalist Kelly Shaefer. Shaefer was also one of the final four vocalists chosen for the frontman spot in VELVET REVOLVER. Johnson discovered Shaefer in a small club in South Florida a few years back and offered to produce Shaefer's then-band NEUROTICA's first record "Seed". Johnson also sang alongside Shaefer on the track "Deadly Sin" that Johnson and Kaye penned for the band, marking it the first and only time Johnson has produced in his illustrious career. With music making a retro fitted return to "classic" songwriting qualities, BIG MACHINE spits out a sound ironically reminiscent of the Bon Scott-era of AC/DC. Shaefer's vocal on "Somebody's Looking" casts an eerie resemblance to that of the late Bon Scott. BIG MACHINE's demo is currently making the rounds to industry insiders, and the stage is set for this band to emerge and flatten the "pretenders" to the throne of rock and roll. How fitting that the beating would come from the man who has carried the torch to that sound for over 20 years! The buzz on this band is so hot that its first live appearance, on March 24 in South Florida, is sold out two weeks before the date of the show. Not bad for a band that just got together at the top of the year. Johnson will also be making an onstage appearance with BIG MACHINE on March 24. BIG MACHINE is: Donny Jaurols - Guitar Doug Kaye - Guitar Joe Scibilia - Bass Kelly Shaefer - Vocals Jeff Klosterman - Drums This five-piece outfit promises to be a breath of fresh air in these times of "ProTooled" cookie cutter bands that plague the airwaves. With Jaurols and Kaye's relentless wall of guitars, Klosterman and Scibilia's rhythm section providing the perfect soundtrack for Shaefer's throaty approach, songs like "Party Time for 2" and "All Women are Crazy", along with the radio-ready "Wild Wild West", bring back a fun, but daring time of rock. -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. THE AMENTA: 'Erebus' Video Posted Online.... - Mar. 17, 2005 French webzine VS-Webzine.com has uploaded THE AMENTA's video for the track "Erebus" at this location. The clip was directed by Steff and Dalibor of Entropy films, directors of the critically acclaimed feature film "Zero Tolerance Squad" (winner of the Best Director and Best Film awards at the Fifth Planet indie film festival). "Erebus" comes off the Australian extreme metallers' debut album, "Occasus", released last September via Listenable Records. "Occasus" was engineered and mixed by Lachlan Mitchell, keyboardist for Australian black metal legends NAZXUL. The recording process spanned five months from January to May 2004 and took place in many different studios throughout Sydney, finally being mixed at the newly refurbished BJB studios and mastered at Studios 301. "Occasus" consists of 10 songs incorporating "elements from both black and death metal as well as noise and industrial music — 10 laments for human stagnancy displaying waves of harsh metallics and ominous electronics that don’t bow to traditions or dogma," according to an official press release. -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. TEAM SLEEP To Release Long-Awaited Debut In May.... - Mar. 17, 2005 Launch Radio Networks is reporting that TEAM SLEEP, the side project from DEFTONES singer Chino Moreno that's been in the works for over five years, will finally release its self-titled debut album on May 10. The only recorded output by TEAM SLEEP before this was a song on the soundtrack of the 2003 film, "The Matrix Reloaded". Moreno told Launch what it is about TEAM SLEEP that has kept him involved for all this time. "I just think they're good songs, and its good people that I play with — most of them are my friends that I grew up with forever," he said. "And it's kinda like, I think when a band goes in to make their first record, it's like, you don't have anything to really live up to, other than just making songs that you like, you know what I mean? Sometimes it's aggravating to have, like, everybody else's opinion all the time, and TEAM SLEEP, it's just, we just do it and they kind of let us do what we wanna do." Meanwhile, Chino and DEFTONES entered the studio last November with legendary producer Bob Ezrin (KISS, PINK FLOYD, JANE'S ADDICTION) to begin recording their fifth studio album. There's no word yet on a release date for the disc. DEFTONES undertook a short U.S. tour last fall to road test some new material. The band's last album, a self-titled effort, came out in the spring of 2003. -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. LED ZEPPELIN Singer Gets His GRAMMY.... - Mar. 17, 2005 United Press International is reporting that Grammy Awards organizers decided it was better late than never for former LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant. Plant received his Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Thursday (March 17) prior to his keynote interview at the annual South By Southwest music conference in Austin, Texas. Plant was absent Feb. 12, when his bandmates received the award in Los Angeles, but Recording Academy President Neil Portnow brought the glass trophy for Plant to Austin. "Wow, that's nice. It's heavy," Plant said in accepting the award. "It's almost 37 years since the first LED ZEPPELIN song was heard on American radio, and in September it'll be 25 years since the passing of (drummer) John Bonham. These days go quickly ... "There were a lot of high points and a lot of great enthusiasm and industry in the heart of LED ZEPPELIN. And for that it's been a really major part of my creative life." Plant and his band, the STRANGE SENSATION, performed at South By Southwest to preview their new album, "Mighty Rearranger", which comes out May 10. -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. MOTÖRHEAD's LEMMY On Winning GRAMMY: 'Nobody Deserves It More'.... - Mar. 17, 2005 MOTÖRHEAD frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister spoke to Jon Bream of the Minneapolis Star Tribune about winning his first Grammy after 30 years in the hard-rock wars. "It's about bloody time," said Kilmister. "Nobody deserves it more, although I'm too modest to say it." Of course, the irony is that the trophy for best heavy-metal performance isn't for MOTÖRHEAD's 21st and latest CD, "Inferno", but for a METALLICA song ("Whiplash") that the British trio recorded for a tribute CD. That's OK — Kilmister isn't complaining. "I don't mind it," said the singer-bassist, "but it would mean more if it was one of our numbers." For a full-tilt trio that pioneered speed metal and prides itself on sex, drugs and relentlessness, a Grammy isn't going to make MOTÖRHEAD respectable. "There's not much chance of that; don't worry," said Kilmister, who will turn 60 on Christmas Eve. "It's too late for this band." Kilmister said he thinks that the Grammy will have no impact on MOTÖRHEAD's career. He has had mainstream recognition before: "We did 'The Tonight Show' many years ago, and our sales went down." -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. CANCER To Enter Studio This Weekend.... - Mar. 17, 2005 Reformed U.K. death metallers CANCER will enter Philia studios in Henley on Thames, England on March 20 to begin recording their new album, entitled "Spirit In Flames". The group's first full-length studio album (fifth overall) since "Black Faith" in 1995 is tentatively scheduled for a June release via Copro Records. According to a posting on the group's web site, "Spirit In Flames" will be "a very heavy album, and the darkest they have done thus far." Commented drummer Carl Stokes: "We are looking forward to making people's trousers flap." A launch party for the CD will take place at the London Deathfest on June 18, with a full European tour to follow. CANCER released an EP, "Corporation$", last May through Copro. Included on the effort was the group's cover version of the CELTIC FROST classic "Dethroned Emperor". CANCER's current lineup includes Stokes, vocalist/guitarist John Walker, bassist Adam Richardson, and guitarist Dave Leitch (PULVERISED). Leitch replaced Rob Engvikson last summer after Rob left the group to focus on his long-running ASATRU project (which has since been renamed DANELAW). -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. NINE INCH NAILS's new album, "With Teeth", is slated for release in the U.S on May 3 (one day earlier internationally). The CD, which is said to be "more song-orientated" than 1999's "The Fragile", was recorded in part at Sound City Studio in Van Nuys, Ca., and features a guest appearance on drums by former NIRVANA drummer/current FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl. Mixing duties were handled by Alan Moulder (THE CURE, SMASHING PUMPKINS). Check out clips of "The Hand That Feeds" (first single) and "The Line Begins to Blur" at BandBuilder.com. KING'S X Frontman Discusses Project With PEARL JAM Members.... - Mar. 17, 2005 KING'S X singer/bassist Doug Pinnick recently spoke to Billboard.com about his current projects, which include a new solo album, a new KING'S X album with '80s metal vet Michael Wagener producing, a project with ex-WINGER guitarist Reb Beach and a much-discussed/yet-to-be-released project with PEARL JAM bassist Jeff Ament and guitarist Mike McCready. "I can't wait until it comes out, it's been taking so damn long," Pinnick told Billboard.com about the Ament/McCready recordings. "So what's left with this record is that whenever we can all get the time again, we're going to get back together. [Drummer] Richard [Stuverud] is going to finish up his background harmonies, we'll put the shakers on and all the little things and fix anything that we feel we don't like." "There's a couple of things I'd like to re-do; a couple of words that didn't come out very clear," he continued. "That'll take maybe a week to get together and work all that out. And then we're done. I don't know what the plan is — where we're going to put it out or who's going to do it. I'm leaving it up to Jeff because he's the man with the clout, so he can do whatever he needs to do with the record." As for the KING'S X record, Pinnick describes the still-untitled disc as "A cross between 'Dogman' and 'Gretchen [Goes to Nebraska],' I think. Those are the two records that we feel really truly represent us. It came out great — even Michael was so excited. He got goose bumps on several songs, and he said he doesn't get that often." BYZANTINE To Begin Mixing New Album Next Week.... - Mar. 17, 2005 Guitarist/vocalist Chris Ojeda Adams of the West Virginia-based "tech-metal" band BYZANTINE has issued the following update on the recording sessions for the group's sophomore album, "...And They Shall Take Up Serpents", tentatively due in June via Prosthetic Records: "Just finished the last night of tracking and I am really happy with what we have so far and and can't wait for you guys to hear it! Charles A Fisher (nano producer) and I will be burning tracks all day and making mixing notes for our boys Brad Divens (WRATHCHILD AMERICA) and Drew Mazurek (NOTHINGFACE, GWAR) who will begin mixing the album this upcoming week at Highview Studios in Maryland. We spent 42 days in Little Kids Day Care/101 Productions recording this album and it has gone really well. We also have about 14 hours of footage shot for our DVD that will be coming out later summer. The rhythm section sounds awesome and I am really happy with my vocals on this album, much happier than on 'The Fundamental Component'. Also, the solos Tony laid down slay! Next week we will begin recording our version of a killer cover song and holding bassist auditions. Should be fun. So make sure you catch us on the road as we will be tearing it up for the next 3 months in preparation for the release of '…And They Shall Take Up Serpents'." BYZANTINE, who recently parted ways with longtime bassist Chris "Cid" Adams due to "musical differences," have some shows scheduled in the Northeast to warm up for their European Tour in May. "We've been off for a few months now recording our second album, so we need to get back out there and get the shows and the songs tight again. We also will be breaking in the new bassist as well," said Ojeda. BYZANTINE's U.K. tour will run from May 12-28 before the band head back to the U.S. to jump on the EYEHATEGOD tour on May 31. SOULFLY: New Album To Surface In August.... - Mar. 17, 2005 Roadrunner Records has reportedly set an August 9 release date for the fifth SOULFLY album. The as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy" was produced by mainman Max Cavalera and is being mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others. In a recent interview with SoulflyWeb.com, Cavalera had the following to say about the upcoming CD: "The events that took place this past December, with the death of Dimebag Darrell and the passing of [Max's step-grandson] Moses, had a huge influence on the way that I chose to present this album, so I'd say that that made it a bit darker. We did some of the recordings in France, Turkey, and Russia and we used some instruments that you could only find in those countries. Those recordings will definitely have a strong effect on the direction that the worldly and atmospheric elements of the album take. But Marc [Rizzo, guitar] and Joe [Nunez, drums], those guys are both huge metalheads, and they kind of forced me to make a very heavy, brutal album. I don't listen to metal as much as I used to, but Marc just lives and breathes metal. Everything like LAMB OF GOD, SLAYER, MAIDEN, NAPALM DEATH, and some extremely crazy death metal shit. He loves to play those riffs and he's amazing at it, so that'll be on there, too." -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. ABORYM Sign With SEASON OF MIST.... - Mar. 17, 2005 Italian black metallers ABORYM, now featuring former EMPEROR and current SCUM drummer Bård "Faust" Eithun, have inked a two-album deal with Season of Mist. After comparing several offers from European and American labels, the band decided to sign with Season of Mist, in their opinion the best "quality black metal" label. ABORYM will record their new album during April-May 2005 in Rome, Italy. The band's lineup has undergone several changes with the addition of Faust and vocalist Prime Evil (ex-MYSTICUM). Faust says: "Through the years my contribution to ABORYM varied from writing a few lyrics, doing some spoken passages, as well as playing with them live. I have great respect for the band and the people behind it. ABORYM is highly innovative and influential as far as the mixture of traditional black metal and electronics goes. I see my position in the band strengthening when becoming a permanent part of the band. I am going down to Rome later this year in order to participate on the recording of the fourth ABORYM album. I think it should easily surpass everything they have done earlier. It should be classic to say the least." Prime Evil joins ABORYM as the replacement for the group's previous singer, Attila Csihar, who has returned to MAYHEM. Despite Attila's departure, Csihar will still find time to do some vocals on the new ABORYM album. The new ABORYM lineup consists of: Prime Evil - Vocals M-Fabban - Bass Guitar, Synthesizer, Programming Faust - Drums Nysrok Infernalien - Guitar, Synthesizer, Programming Seth (DISSECTION) - Guitar Attila Csihar (MAYHEM) - Guest Vocals ABORYM is also working on a special track (as yet untitled) with Mr. Richard K Szabo from TWZ (Sweden). -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. But that has not kept them from already getting some tunes together for a new album. Singer Anders Fridén told Nuclear Blast magazine, "Nine or ten songs are written, and the drums will be recorded drums in two and a half weeks." As for the direction of the album, Fridén stated that "it will be more uptempo" and feature "more guitar harmonies." Most of the songs have titles by now, but the frontman declined to name them, especially since he was still writing lyrics will travelling in support of JUDAS PRIEST. The tour ended on Monday, March 14 in Böblingen, Germany. Watch out for the interview with Fridén in the next issue of the Nuclear Blast magazine, where he talks about potentially conservative PRIEST fans, cures for pre-show boredom, being a dad, the "nu metal" tag — and the album. -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net. CHILDREN OF BODOM: New Album Due In September.... - Mar. 17, 2005 According to the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes-Of-Bodom.com, Spinefarm Records has pushed back the projected release date of the new CHILDREN OF BODOM album to September 21. As previously reported, the album will be recorded in April-May in a studio in Helsinki with Mikko Karmila recording and mixing. However, the producer for the projected hasn't been announced yet. The plan is for the group to include the title track of their recent EP, "Trashed, Lost & Strungout", on the new album, albeit possibly in re-recorded form, since the original version was recorded at Astia Studio, which won't be the case with the rest of the album. (It wouldn't be the first time the band have done this, since "Hate Me!" was also recorded during both the single session in Astia and the "Follow the Reaper" session at Abyss studios.) In other news, CHILDREN OF BODOM guitarist/vocalist Alexi Laiho's punk side-project KYLÄHULLUT have posted a video for their song "Kääpiöt" ("Midgets") on their record label's website. It's actually just a simple animation video done by the singer Vesku Jokinen, who did similar videos before for his main band KLAMYDIA. -----SOURCE: Blabbermouth.net.
